Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment recognized Amber Arens, Colorado Early Education Network (CEEN) Assistant Director, and Sharla Meyer, Site Education Manager at Jefferson Early Head Start for the work they have done at CEEN to support nursing mothers who have infants and children enrolled in Head Start. The award was presented during the Promises for Children Early Childhood Council facilitated by Weld County United Way. The Northern Colorado Breastfeeding Coalition recently designated the Colorado Early Education Network as a breastfeeding friendly child care center. Current Weather Conditions: Snow will continue this morning across Weld County, but the heavier snow has ended. Wind is still gusty in areas.

Current Road Conditions: Roads are mostly clear with some icy spots.

Current Operations: All plow trucks (20) are covering their routes; two snow patrols are out monitoring conditions.

Forecast Weather Conditions: Snow will end this afternoon; wind gusts up to 35-50 mph throughout the day will cause blowing snow, which may reduce visibility at times.

Forecast Road Conditions: Crews will stay on all routes until conditions improve and wind has slowed.
